Lijsten 66 Ender 3 Hotend Keeps Clogging. I think i know the cause but i'm not sure how to fix it. So i have a weird problem. I was using esun pla pro with great success and wanted to try some other filaments.

So i have taken it apart and i found the clog not in the nozzle, not in the cold side but rather in that tube between the two.4/9/2017 · it happened a few times before but usually all i do is set temperature to 280 degrees and force the clog out which has worked, but now my 8h print has failed at 96% due to a clog which really annoyed me.
So how do you tell them apart? I suspect this is caused by heat creeping up the heat break. It is important to reduce the heat travelling upwards in the first place rather than fighting the result. To fight heat creep, you must understand why this is happening. It's not like an actual clog, if i pull the filament, clip the end, and refeed it'll start feeding again but the print always fails to extrude about an hour in.
